Late this afternoon we ate at the Tomahawk Cafe (recommended by Charles Davis), then we drove through West Vancouver over to the village of Horseshoe Bay. It’s the ferry terminal for Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, and some of the smaller islands. The day has been hazy, but we did get a shot of the view from West Van. Now it’s back to bed for me. Somewhat hazy view of West Van (on the North Shore), Vancouver across the bay (with Stanley Park in the foreground), and I think that is New Westminister behind on the left.

Something that hasn’t changed since I was a kid. “Slow down. Bears in area.”
Yummy Reuben for me, and for Dempsey Wheeler, a Skookum Chief Burger!
Tomahawk Cafe is famous for its pie, seen here in the case. I had a piece of blueberry.
