All my life, I’ve loved to travel. My dream has been to visit all the countries that interest me on every continent. Until July 2021, however, I’d never left North America.
In Spring of 2021, we could see the world beginning to reopen. Dempsey said, “This year is yours. It’s time to make your travel dream come true.” And so we did!

One of the very best parts of being in Vancouver was finally meeting my Facebook friend of many years, Charles Davis, and his lovely wife, Julie. Charles and I have lots in common; we’ve chatted often, but there is nothing that compares to experiencing someone’s energy in person. They treated us to lunch downtown by Coal Harbor, and we all talked for hours. Then we drove over to Kits Beach, and I put my feet in the water.
