All my life, I’ve loved to travel. My dream has been to visit all the countries that interest me on every continent. Until July 2021, however, I’d never left North America.

In Spring of 2021, we could see the world beginning to reopen. Dempsey said, “This year is yours. It’s time to make your travel dream come true.” And so we did!

We’re spending fifteen weeks exploring the world, and you’re invited along.

Mountain Highway

Thursday we drove up Mountain Highway to look for our old house. It was gone, of course; it was old 71 years ago when I stood alone in our kitchen, watching a curious bear trying to open our back door! Our block is still just two blocks from the very top of the street. Then we drove the few blocks over to Lynn Canyon and walked down to the suspension bridge, which has been carrying park-goers across the canyon for 104 years. Finally we drove down to Lonsdale Quay for dinner, then we took the SeaBus across the water to Canada Place downtown.

Milan and Lake Como
